
Dr. Meng-Chen(Rebecca) Wu is a visiting neurologist from Taiwan in UBC’s department of Neurology. She is also a lecturer in the Taiwan National University, Department of Neurology. With a dual specialization in neurology and geriatric medicine, Rebecca’s academic research over the years has focused on the investigation of genetics and biomarkers in dystonia, alongside clinical geriatric medicine.
Currently, her research interests have expanded to neuroimaging analysis, particularly in Parkinson’s disease and related disorders, as well as frailty syndrome. Her work aims to explore the nature of the diseases through neuroimaging and advance their applications in clinical care. Rebecca is honored to join the team and is enthusiastic about contributing to this new chapter in her career.
